It’s no surprise that the drink of choice in France is the nectar of the gods: wine. In August of 2021, I was in Paris and discovered a little and unique wine bar called Chez Nous, which I fell in love with. Why?
First and foremost, there is no menu. You tell the waiters what you want and your budget, and they get to work. They have an excellent wine list and platters that will excite your taste senses. The food and wine are from all around the world, not just France, making for a unique dining experience.

Yes, a vineyard exists in the heart of Paris. Vignes du Clos is the world’s tiniest vineyard, and it’s situated in Montmartre. A glance at the beauty of Montmartre as this is a must to do a thing on your Paris trip.
The vineyard is not owned by a wealthy family or a corporation. It is owned by the 18th arrondissement, also known as Montmartre. Vignes du Clos is essentially a park that produces local wine and donates the earnings to charitable causes.
Another lovely thing is to bring the Parisian community together around something as sacred as wine.
Join a Paris Food Tour
Paris is a city where you should try native cuisine. You may have heard that bread tastes better in France, and this is not a hoax.
Food is essential to all cultures, and the French believe they have cracked the code. Their view may or may not be correct, but their enthusiasm for the culinary arts is undeniable and laudable. This may be seen in a variety of ways, but we believe the greatest option is to join a food tour, and ours is the best!
Why? We evaluated various culinary excursions in Paris, and the majority of them did not visit a single restaurant.
Take a Walk Through a Parisian Food Market
Taking in some of the local cultures by visiting a neighbourhood market is one of the greatest things to do in Paris. The Marché des Enfants Rouges is Paris’ oldest covered market, located in the upper Marais region.
If you prefer an open-air market, go to the Marché d’Aligre in the 12th arrondissement.
This crowded market has pretty much everything you can think of, and there are several specialty food stores behind the market that are worth exploring.
